1.USB flash drivers installation:
-Download USB flash drivers from You are not allowed to view links.

-Conect the USB cable to PC
-Turn off phone
-Press & hold the "C" key on the phone's keyboard and insert the USB cable into the phone.
-A popup will appear that a NEW HARDWARE was found .

     -Run SETOOL and At "Phone Type" Choose your phone model [K800] before you start.
     -Click on "Read GDFS"
     -Now turn off your phone,hold c(from phone)and insert USB cable.
     -Setool lite will create a backup of your GDFS.It will be stored in the SE Tool main folder,("gdfs_[your IMEI].bin")
 -Disconnect phone

 -Run XS++
 -Click "Connect",turn off your phone,hold c(from phone)and insert USB cable!
 -Click on GDFS then click on Backup GDFS and wait for message "Disconnected...Unplug the phone".
 -Now disconnect your phone


3 Find out what CID you have -knet add

1.Turn off the phone and remove SIM and MEMORY STICK .
2.Run Setool2 lite and choose your  PHONE TYPE (w810,w850,k800)
3.press IDENTIFY  
4.PRESS AND HOLD THE " C " KEY AND CONNECT THE PHONE .
5.Setool will display in the main window all the info of your phone ( FIRMWARE , CID ,IMEI ),
6.Detatch the phone .


Continue this tutorial only if you have CID 52!For CID 53 you must use FAR Manager + jdflasher!

4.Phone Flashing
1.With Setool2 lite:
-Download You are not allowed to view links.

-Turn off the phone and remove SIM card and Memory card.
-Start Setool2 lite and choose PHONE TYPE-K800
-Click on ADD and select the MAIN (.MBN file)[ex:K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn] and ADD next the FS(.FBN file) [K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.fbn] (they will appear both in the ADD-list)
-At MISC FILES select the CUSTOMIZATION .zip (ex:K800i_CDA102568_2_Generic_CENT_EUROPE.rar)
-Press FLASH and setool will ask you to insert the cable into the phone .
-Quickly you PRESS and HOLD the button C on your phone's keyboard and CONNECT the usb cable.
-Setool will show then that it's starting to flash the phone.
-You can remove the usb cable only when it displays: "elapsed xxx second,phone detached".After that disconnect the phone,get battery out few seconds,reinsert battery,SIM card and memory stick and start up phone,will appear a message "Please wait"and wait!
2.With XS++:
-Turn off the phone and remove SIM card and Memory card.
-Download XS++ from Softwares area
-Run XS++
-Click "Connect"
-Now quickly PRESS and HOLD the button C on your phone and CONNECT the usb cable
-Now mark "Flash Main Firmware" and "Flash Filesystem"
-At "Flash Main Firmware" add your MAIN(.mbn)[ex:K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn],at "Flash filesystem add FS(.fbn file)[ex:K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.fbn]
-Now mark "Customize Filesystem" and select K800 and region(same as FS,ex:if FS is like FS_MEDITERR_RED52.fbn you will select MEDTERR custom pack]
-Now click "Flash" and wait for XS++ finish flashing your phone!
-Wait for message "Disconnected...Unplug the phone" and disconnect your phone,reinsert battery,SIM card and memory stick and start up phone,will appear a message "Please wait"and wait!


5.Phone UNLOCKING
---Only with Setool v1.11--

FOR CID52 ONLY - IF you have cid 49 or 51 just upgrade it via XS ++ or setool2 lite 1.11 NOT SEUS cos upgrades it to cid 53 and that's bad !!

1.Cracking the MAIN with quick access patch.vkp so you can use patches and unlock it or other patches.
-In setool 1.11 is a folder QAMAKER
-In it is qamaker.exe
-Drag the MAIN [ex:"K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn"] over "qamaker.exe" and it will create an" quick_access_K800_R8BF003.vkp " in QAMAKER folder .
-Start setool lite1.11 and choose "Phone type" K800
-At " MISC FILES" on "..." select the "quick_access_K800_R8BF003.vkp "
-Mark "Bypass db2020 security".
-Click on ADD and select the  MAIN [ex:"K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn"]
-CLICK FLASH.
-Press & hold C from phone and insert usb cable.
-In a few moments it will tell you to remove the USB,remove battery and put it back,PRESS "READY "in setool and PLUG THE USB IN again.
-After a few minutes it will apear a popup select NO to apply the patch
and is done ( elapsed xxx -seconds)


NOTE THAT THIS STEP YOU MUST DO ONLY ONE TIME AFTER EVERY NEW FLASHING IN ORDER TO APPLY PATCHES OR TO UNLOCK THE PHONE THE MAIN MUST BE CRACKED .

NOW YOU CAN APPLY ANY KIND OF PATCHES ( JUST TAKE CARE THAT THE PATCH IS MADE FOR YOUR FIRMWARE (SOFTWARE) VERSION .

2.Make the unlock patch:
-You are not allowed to view links.

Download Unlock patch maker

-Run program.
-Click on "..."
-Go to phone MAIN folder[ex:K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn] and select it!
-Click "Make patch" and close program
-Unlock patch it's on vkp folder[ex:Remove_SIM_lock_K810_R8BF003.vkp]!

3.Writing the patch to the phone only with Setool v1.11:
!!! NOTE THAT THIS STEP DESCRIBES THE WAY YOU CAN APPLY ANY PATCH TO A DB2020 PHONE NOT JUST THE UNLOCK PATCH !!!!!
-Run Setool.
-Select "Phone type" k800.

-At  MISC FILES select the UNLOCK patch[ex:Remove_SIM_lock_K810_R8BF003.vkp]
-Mark "use quick access patch"
-Press "WRITE SCRIPT"
-Press and hold "c" from phone and insert USB cable
-When the program ask to select "YES to remove patch or NO to apply patch",you press NO.
-Now you wait untill you see next message: Elapsed ___sec and disconnect your phone!
                      Phone now it's UNLOCKED!


6.Phone modding
With XS++:
-Run XS++

-Now shut down your phone,press and hold "c" and insert USB cable

you needed to FLASH the phone not UPGRADE it via SEUS . that is the crapiest software ever seen . it does only damage to your phone .

if you want to flash it use far manager with Jdflasher from our sony ericsson>software area .

if u reflash it will relock network, u can use any fw,it only needs the same phone model and CID

Also in your example their were three blocks found were as mine only seems to find 2.

New block #0001 added: $45C80000

if you flash your phone, all of your contacts will be deleted
you can make a backup on memory stik, or you can copy all of them on sim card

thanks for the answers. so i take it i load up setool, select my gdfs in the 'restore' field and then just write to my fone? I did back it up earlier, but if i do that will it re-lock my phone again or just give me my contacts back?
